How I Work

The most important part of coaching is the experience of being deeply listened to, being really heard. You are the guide for the process. We work together to figure out the most important issues to unravel and the best way for you to move forward.

You may not even know what the direction or question is, but there is a sense of something missing. Working together, we can unearth that and find ways forward that will be meaningful for you.

Talking about yourself and being really heard opens doors in our consciousness. You can start to hear yourself make sense and put things together. I will ask questions to help prompt reflection and suggest different ways of thinking or approaching the issues when it’s helpful to open a new door. And I will listen and support your direction when the most important thing is your own creative problem-solving. This process can move in spurts and leaps or slowly and consistently, but it’s yours and yours alone and I am here for you 100%.

My work is sensitive; I use the breadth and depth of my experience to get under the issue and find different solutions. We will use a variety of tools and techniques to experiment with new ways of thinking about yourself and acting in the world. I draw from several coaching philosophies and frameworks based in Person Centred Coaching. The emphasis will be on what you need at different points in your journey. My approach is mainly informed by Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Narrative Coaching, Existential Coaching, and Mindfulness.

This process is grounded in you gaining understanding and insight into your own inner workings in a way that will lead to practical, tangible change that you can own and initiate.

What you can expect from our sessions:
1. I will hold the space for you to work on new ways of being and thinking to expand your confidence and creativity.
2. While you are cultivating a deeper belief in yourself, I will believe in you.
3. I am there to support you all the way.

Coaching Sessions

First I offer a free hour-long exploratory conversation for us to see if we are a good match and what your best next step is. If we proceed to work together, we will figure out the right coaching package for you. I work in person, by phone, or Skype.

Coaching Packages:

2-month package - 6 sessions
3-month package - 9 sessions
6-month package - 18 sessions

All coaching sessions are one hour long. I offer discounts for 3 and 6-month packages with full payment upfront.
